Neuron Medical Corporation is the neurology practice of Liliana Cohen, M.D., Paul Dudley, M.D., B. Vijay Kumar, M.D. and naturopathic medical doctor Kristin Stiles Green, N.M.D. , Dr. Ilana Lewis, N.M.D. of Thousand Oaks, California.

Drs. Cohen, Dudley, Kumar, Lewis  and Stiles Green combine extensive experience and the latest technology in addressing neurological concerns. Drs. Cohen, Dudley, Kumar, Lewis   and Stiles Green work in partnership with patients in the treatment of neurological conditions and other issues.

Neurologist

Liliana Cohen, M.D.

Dr. Liliana Cohen is a neurologist practicing in Thousand Oaks, California. She enjoys practicing general neurology and has major interests in botulinum toxin (Botox®) treatment of movement disorders, spasticity and myofascial spasms, cosmetic Botox®, functional medicine and neurology, the diseases of the muscles and nerves, stroke, epilepsy and headache.

As a neurologist, Dr. Cohen is highly trained to treat disorders of the nervous system, which include diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Some common problems that neurologists diagnose and treat are strokes, epilepsy (seizures), headaches, and various forms of pain. Neurologists may serve as consultants to other physicians and may provide long-term care to patients with chronic neurological disorders.

Dr. Liliana Cohen was born in Moldova (Europe), where she received her medical doctorate (M.D.) degree. She completed her medical internship and neurology residency program at Medical University of Ohio in Toledo, followed by a one year neurophysiology/EEG/EMG fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Cohen speaks English and Russian fluently.

Dr Liliana Cohen is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). As a neurologist, Dr. Cohen is highly trained to treat disorders of the nervous system, which include diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles.

She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN),American Association of Neuromuscular and Neurodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) and the American Medical Association (AMA).

Dr. Paul Dudley

Our practice is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Paul Dudley, well-known established neurologist in our community. We are committed to provide top neurological care for our patients, as Dr. Paul Dudley is accepting new patients and referrals from other providers.

Paul Dudley M.D. is a graduate of medical school in University of Oklahoma ( 1968 to 1972)

He completed his neurology residency at University of Utah (1974 to 1977), and neurology fellowship at Queen Square Hospital, National Institute of Neurology, London England.

Dr. Dudley is Board certified neurologist by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology ( http://www.abpn.com ) and has admitting privileges in Los Robles Hospital.

Dr. Dudley lives in Thousand Oaks and his hobbies are golf and painting.

Dr. B. Vijay Kumar

Dr. Kumar is board certified in seven areas:

Dr Kumar went to medical school in Madras, India.

He did his Residency at Boston University.

He did his Fellowship in Neuromuscular disease and Neurophysiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Dr. Kumar has been working in private practice for over 28 years, and he has been working as a Neuro Hospitalist and Stroke Neurologist in Texas, Pennsylvania, and California. His interests include clinical neurophysiology and interventional pain management.

Naturopathic Medical Doctor

Kristin Stiles Green, N.M.D.

Dr. Stiles Green is licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in the state of California. She has made a career of helping people achieve their optimal health using clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, dietary intervention, and lifestyle counseling.
Dr. Stiles Green’s focus is on health and she has had success helping people of all ages. Her expertise is effective for those who have received a cancer diagnosis or are experiencing fatigue, depression, anxiety, weight management difficulties, allergies, eczema, asthma, digestive issues, ADD/ADHD, fibromyalgia, and immune disorders among others. She is also very experienced in testing and addressing food sensitivities, heavy metal and environmental toxicities
Dr. Stiles Green practices at the forefront of natural and preventive medicine. After earning her medical degree she established one of the first naturopathic practices in northeastern Pennsylvania and upstate New York. She was recruited by United Health Services in New York State to develop an integrative medical center integrating naturopathic, allopathic, Chinese, mind/body, and physical medicine. She oversaw the design and development of this facility and its programs. She also recruited all of the clinical staff for the facility. Following her success with United Health Services she developed and directed a private group of integrative medicine practitioners, and managed a weight management program funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Dr. Stiles Green spent several years working as the Director of Nutrition and a naturopathic doctor at a concierge-style practice in Santa Monica, CA, which catered to high profile, international clientele.

More recently, she was recruited to direct the Department of Naturopathic Medicine at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in the Chicago area. She spent four years there supervising a staff of up to 15 naturopathic doctors; and designing and implementing evidence-based, naturopathic oncology protocols to be used in conjunction with cancer patients undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and stem cell transplantation.

Dr. Stiles Green believes in “practicing what she preaches” and therefore lives her life with the same level of commitment to diet, health, exercise, and wellness that she asks of her patients. She is a frequent speaker on topics concerning natural medicine, health, oncology and wellness and has appeared on numerous radio and television programs throughout the country. She has also been published in several health magazines and books.

Licensed Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Ilana Lewis, N.M.D.

Dr. Ilana Lewis is a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor practicing in her hometown of Los Angeles, California. Originally on track to become an MD, Dr. Lewis earned her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UCLA. Throughout her 20s, she struggled with complex chronic health issues that conventional medicine couldn’t explain, leading to a frustrating cycle of specialist visits and inconclusive results. Her perspective shifted when she met a holistic practitioner who truly listened to her story, validated her experience, and partnered with her to uncover the root of her health challenges. This transformative encounter led Dr. Lewis to pursue naturopathic medicine and commit to a patient-centered, integrative approach to care.

Dr. Lewis went on to earn her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She has specialized expertise in complex gastrointestinal conditions, mold toxicity, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), Lyme disease, and other chronic infections. Her clinical training includes modalities such as IV nutrient infusions, herbal medicine, nutrition, pharmacology, homeopathy, biotherapeutic drainage, neural injection therapy, and applied kinesiology, allowing her to offer a broad range of therapeutic options tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

In her practice, Dr. Lewis is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard and empowered. She works closely with each individual to address the root causes of their health concerns, fostering a collaborative approach to wellness and emphasizing the importance of patient education. Dr. Lewis is an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA), and the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (GastroANP). As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, she is dedicated to offering inclusive, affirming care, especially for queer patients who may have faced barriers to accessing supportive healthcare.
